When you manage the schedule for any size team, you know that even just one employee calling in sick on the day of his shift can pretty much make you cancel any plans you had for that day. Calling all employees and asking them to please hurry over, while deploying psychological warfare tactics ranging from guilt to blame, can take up a manager’s time – and plenty of it.
We at EZShift sympathize with you, and have included a conflict solution mechanism into the scheduling software.
The mechanism is operative at all times, whether before, after, or during the making of the schedule.
With a click, the system will recommend the suitable employees for any shift and will even sort them for you from the most recommended employee at the top, to the least recommended employee at the bottom of the list.
But the conflict solving mechanism does more than just consider names and empty slots; it takes into account everything from the staff member availability for that shift, his suitability to the position required, how many shift they are assigned to during the week, any rules you have defined to the system (no more than two nights every week, for example) and only then does the system hand you its most educated solution.
